Life is about experiences. Seeking out those experiences has always been something that makes me tick. Growing up I would wonder how would somebody else react to this experience? Would they enjoy it? Would they know what to do? Would they find value in the experience?
That is my main objective in starting the business. To provide experiences. I hope that you find these experiences as enjoyable as I do.
Status updates: *I will be posting each week on progress I have made
1. Filling for an LLC This week I finally got the guts to set up my LLC. I had been waiting to pull the trigger for months now. Always waiting on saving money or when I had games that were ready to go.
2. Finalizing a company name As a toddler, I was a late bloomer on talking. My older siblings understood my own made up language, so why speak English? For example, When I wanted water I used the phrase “giddilygeekin’. Do not ask me why A year ago I was thinking, “If I was to start a business, what would I call it?” My mom was telling my wife about my toddler language and it occurred to me that this was the name!
3. Decide on a logo Ugh, this was tough! What the heck to use as a logo to show what type of games I hope to create? I tried all kinds of stuff. Nothing seemed to really bring the emotion of being giddy—feeling the rush while playing a game. One morning this week it hit me that the emotion I wanted the logo to have was excitement.
I know it doesn’t seem too earth-shattering, but it seemed to fit what I was after. So I started thinking about what animals might have the potential of showing the most excitement. I thought of alligators and how many teeth they have and honestly what animal could have a bigger grin in the world than an alligator? I drew our giddy gator and fell in love with him. I had my cousin (https://trevornielsen.com/), who does flippin’ amazing work , take a look and bring him to life!
