As mentioned last time, This sprint was focused on building a tutorial. I will be honest it was ALLOT of work! The biggest difference with this tutorial is that it teaches multiple people at once. Hopefully The tutorial achieves the following:
Movement controls
Tests if player is inverted
Teaches them about auto pitch
What the weapon gauge is
How to arm items
How to use items
How to use special (controllable) items
How to reset to last checkpoint
It is good to finally have such a big milestone to the game. I feel more confident that others can now pick up the game and understand what is going on.
Goals in next sprint:
Have people playtest the tutorial
Have the tutorial compatible for keyboard players
